Scotland to impose toughest coronavirus restrictions in 11 council areas, says Nicola Sturgeon

A total of 11 council areas in Scotland will be placed under Level 4 coronavirus restrictions from 6pm on Friday, Nicola Sturgeon has announced. The First Minister said imposing the nation's toughest lockdown restrictions is intended to be “short and sharp”.
