The Orion bar as seen by JWST in mid-infrared (left), and Hubble (right). (ESA/Webb, NASA, CSA, M. Zamani, the PDRs4All ERS Team)But it was a no-show in observations outside the Solar System, meaning that we could not be certain of its presence or role.
