It says something about the history built through the years between the GAA and the GPA that there's little enough new about anything that happens anymore, no matter how provocative. Disputes over expenses being doled out to players? That was part of why the GPA came into being. Protests? It's 20 years since Kilkenny's Andy Comerford and seven Cork players marched in the parade before the National Hurling League final with jerseys hanging out and socks down.
