The stink bug Arma custos (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) is a predatory enemy successfully used for biocontrol of lepidopteran and coleopteran pests in notorious invasive species. In this study, a high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of A. custos was achieved through a combination of Illumina sequencing, PacBio HiFi sequencing, and Hi-C scaffolding techniques.
