Persistent thrombocytopenia (PT) has an unsatisfactory response to therapy after haploidentical haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (haplo-HSCT). We retrospectively evaluated the safety and efficacy of avatrombopag treatment in 69 patients with PT following haplo-HSCT and assessed whether baseline thrombopoietin (TPO) levels could predict treatment response.
