In Japan, a hypertension treatment aid application (CureApp Co., Ltd.) with educational content on hypertension was the first in the world to show significant blood pressure (BP) reduction in hypertensive patients in 2021. Omron Healthcare Corporation and I developed the Health data Monitoring System (HMS) without educational content, which allows patients to check their home BP values periodically and allows physicians to check their home BP data before the hospital
