Eddie Izzard had a bit about the work of the experimental neurologist Ivan Pavlov. Specifically, he was interested in his work in the field of classical conditioning, with dogs. He wondered why he had never performed similar studies on behavioural reaction in cats. Everyone knows that Pavlov conditioned his dogs to associate the ringing of a bell with food, until they would salivate just at the noise, even without food present.
