When BTS' Kim Nam Joon or RM from Bangtan boys was criticised for misogynistic lyrics, the star was quick to embrace it and work on it. In an interview, he shared that when he was given this feedback, he got his lyrics checked by a women's study professor. He was quick to add that it was “in-turn an opportunity” for him to “self reflect” if he was “actually being insensitive to gender equality”. If a man loved all over the world today can do this then why not us commoners?
